Privacy policy
IGET Bar AUS handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, mobile number and delivery address. We need these to take payment and get the parcel to you.
- Payment evidence — if you choose an instant PayID or bank-transfer option, the payment screenshot you upload. Crypto payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your wallet keys.
- Technical data — your IP address and browser user-agent, recorded with each order to detect fraud and abuse.
- Local storage — your cart and your age confirmation are stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
How we use it
To process and deliver your order, to email you confirmations and tracking, to answer your support requests, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and to prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have subscribed.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your order: our delivery carrier, our payment providers, and our email provider. Each receives the minimum needed to do its job.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for as long as required for tax and consumer-law purposes, then deleted. Payment screenshots are deleted once the order is settled.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and order records are stored outside the public web root. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects you, we will notify you and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email orders@igetsbaraus.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
We use browser local storage for your cart and age confirmation. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
