How to Charge an IGET Vape: Bar Pro, One, Moon and Bar Plus S3
Not every IGET recharges. The sealed disposables — Bar, Legend, XXL, Mega, Goat, Hot — have no port at all, and there is nothing to plug in. The rechargeable models all use USB-C and all charge the same way. Here is which is which, and how to do it without damaging the battery.
Which IGET Models Recharge
Rechargeable, USB-C: IGET Bar Pro 10000, IGET One 12000, IGET Moon 5000, IGET Bar Plus S3, IGET Star L7000, IGET B5000, IGET Flare B10000 and the IGET Halo kit.
Not rechargeable: IGET Bar 3500, Legend 4000, XXL 1800, Mega 3000, Goat 5000 and Hot 5500. These are sealed single-use devices — when they are done, they are done.
How to Charge It, Step by Step
Find the USB-C port. On most IGET models it is on the base, occasionally on the side. Plug in a standard USB-C cable and use an ordinary 5V phone charger or a powered USB port.
Watch the indicator. Most models show a light or a level display while charging and change or switch it off when full. A full charge takes roughly 20 to 45 minutes depending on the model — these are small batteries.
Unplug when it is done. Leaving a vape on charge overnight is the single most common way to shorten its life.
Charging Mistakes Worth Avoiding
Do not use a fast charger or a laptop’s high-power port. Vape batteries are tiny and the charging circuit is basic. A 5V phone charger is the safe choice.
Do not charge it unattended or overnight. Charge it while you are in the room.
Do not charge a wet or leaking device. Dry the port completely first.
Do not keep charging a device that will not hold charge. If it drains within an hour of a full charge, the cell is finished — recycle the device, do not keep cycling it.
Charge Before You Assume It Is Empty
The most common false alarm on a rechargeable IGET is a flat battery mistaken for an empty tank. A weak draw and thin vapour feel identical whether the liquid is gone or the battery is low. Charge it first, then judge.
On the Bar Plus S3 and the Halo kit this matters more, because the battery lives in the device and the liquid lives in the pod — they run out on completely different schedules. A flat device with a half-full pod is normal, not a fault.
